Villages Cardinals Nation
Villages Cardinals Nation is looking forward to an exciting 2026 season for our over 400 Cardinal fans living in The Villages. Our goal for the club is to meet and interact with other fans who share our passion for the Redbirds. We hope to provide opportunities for watching and talking Cardinal baseball together.
Our plans for 2026 are to enjoy another spring training trip to Jupiter to see our team prepare for their annual quest to the World Series, monthly fun group outings at Gators Dockside in Brownwood to watch the Cards, and other meetings with interesting guest speakers.
We have had Cardinals staff such as Director of Player Personnel Gary LaRocque, Director of Minor League pitching, Tim Leveque, Major League Athletic Trainer, Barry Weinberg, and Single A Manager of the Year Dann Bilardello, plus retired umpire Richie Garcia, and sports writers Rich Hummell and Rob Rains. We also have Cardinal Bingo in April, a Cardinal Golf Scramble in June, and our bean bag competition in August.
